BRASILIA, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) — Due to the current COVID-19 epidemiological scenario, Brazil’s National Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) decided on Wednesday to lift the mandatory use of face masks in Brazilian airports and on flights. This decision was made effective immediately.
However, Anvisa stated that it continues to suggest the use of N95 face masks and social separation as appropriate techniques to limit the risk of disease transmission. This recommendation was made in light of the fact that both of these strategies are effective.
According to what was written, “given the current situation, the usage of N95 masks, which was introduced as a community health precaution, will become a protection measure for individuals.”
Anvisa gave its approval in May for the restoration of food services on aircraft, as well as for the maximum number of passengers that could be accommodated, but the agency continued to require passengers to wear NOISH approved face masks while traveling and in restricted airport areas.
As of Tuesday, the country in South America had reported 34.2 million instances of COVID-19 and 682,010 deaths connected to the virus, with an average of 176 deaths each day over the course of the past week.

Thanks for this explaination. I use N99 (FFP3) masks.The instructions write those masks filter viruses and says the N95 (FFP2) filters no viruses but only bacteria. Please can you make a video about this difference and maybe the explanation how that works? Would be great!
