The number of infections is increasing
According to statistics from Johns Hopkins University, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the US exceeded 84.748 million and the death toll exceeded 1.008 million as of 17:20 PM EST on Monday. Compared to 24 hours ago, more than 100,000 new cases were confirmed.

Advocates say the potential for unrestricted information sharing to be abused by a large number of entities could have a chilling effect on vaccination rates for some groups and undermine public health efforts to protect the public from the current outbreak and other potential health crises.
Vaccine clinics in the United States collect vast amounts of personal information, including addresses, phone numbers, insurance information and medical histories, the report said.
