The bright yellow metal nose piece can be bent to fit your nose, and the mask has a soft foam band inside to make it comfortable. Most N95 masks fold them up like this, and they are made of three layers of filtering material. They have the elastic head straps that are required by N95, but they don’t work for me. I found that I could cut the bands and tie them around my ears, and the mask would still fit well on my face. That’s not how the masks were meant to be used, but if it lets more people use them, it’s worth mentioning.
